Oh, I get to go first! The most exciting thing that happened to me over the summer was going to California with my husband. We had a great time.

We flew to Minnesota to get there, which took a while, but when we got there, we were suprised at how cool the weather was. Everyone was in winter clothes while we were in shorts and t-shirts.

We spent a day driving down the PCH. All the beaches were beautiful. My favorite one was Laguana Beach.

On the last day there, we went to Disneyland-without our kids! We got them something, though. It was fun, but it was a very small themepark.

I loved California!

I did lots of things over the summer like my family & I went to North Carolina and we had lots pf FUN!! We stayed in this little house like thing for nine days, so needless to say we were all ready to come back to good ole’ Tennessee. HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Tournament

This Saturday August 28,2009 the Lady Eagle’s softball team had a tournament.The first team we played was Medina.We played really good,but we lost.We only lest by two though. In the first game I didn’t get to play,but I didn’t care. because we played great!

The next fame we played was Trenton,everyone thaught we played great in that game too. We all batted and playing the feild good. The score,well i forgot. We won by one though. Ms.Tracy, the coach was very happy that we won.

Finally the last game was Lake County.I got to play in that game too.I played center,and number four was up to bat. We all went back because she was a hard hitter. When she hit the ball she hit it right to me,in the air.I almost caught the ball, it was a centimeter taller than me. It hit the top of my glove and then fell right behind me. I pick the ball up and thew it to second base. Number four was running there,it was a second before she got there that we got her out.We played one to two more innings and the game was over.We won!

After all that they gave the trophies out.Medina got first,but we got secoung!We were all happy,Lake County got third.We couldn’t believe that we had got secound.I don’t know who took the trophy home,but I thank Ms.Tracy took it that way she could put it in the school library.

Over the summer we, we as in 7th&8th graders. We all came to the first day of football practice. Everyone was very nervous about what we were going to do. We ran out of the locker room. We did all of our agility drills such as the bear crawl it’s were you get on all fours.
Then we sepperated into groups. The line went oneway and the backs went the other way. We did a lot of drills like how to catch the ball. Then Coach Walton called the whole team. We took a knee and prayed and changed in the locker room. Afterwards we went home.

Over the summer I did many things like I swam alot and I also broke my leg.
