Basketball Basketball
dribbling between my feet
I adore you so,it's just
that you don't know.
How do I make you understand.

Baketball Basketball
you're amazing so I hear.
This girl just can't,just can't
stop talking about you.
Is it the air in you
that drives her soul?

Basketball Basketball
It's you that I want.
Spent time with you in the
backyards air.

Basketball Basketball
It's amazing you see,
I adore you to the T,
but it's only that you can't
see to let it simply be.

My 8th grade will.

On behalf of my going to highschool,I, Abby Myers, would like to leave some helpful things to the students that will remain at Dyer JR.High.
First of all, u would like to leave my determination and will power to the entire student body. I hope everyone will understand that they CAN succeed, and become anything if they make up their mind to do it. I would also like them to know that there is one all-powerfeul God that can do absolutely anything.
I also leave my ability to have fun to anyone who needs it. I hope everyone knows that is ok to goof off and have fun every once in a while, and that even the most successful of students need time ro loosen up and have a good time.
Now, as one of the most important things, I leave the power I have to be an individual and to accept those who are different, to the poeple that may struggle with this. I want them all to know that intimidation is not an option, and that being yourself is one of the keys to making it through Jr. High and Highschool.
I hope everyone remaining at Dyer well soon understand how it feels to succeed and to have the best year or years possible.
                   Good luck!

Oh window how I wish I was on the other side of you.I don't like this side,I would much rather be on the outside in the warm sun, playing football with my friends. Oh window, it won't be long until I will be on the outside; the beautiful, warm side. Oh window, oh window.

The Visitation

When I had to go to the visitation before my Great Granddad's funeral. we had over three hundred visitors. I wanted to go home after the first hour. I had to stay there till nine o'clock. It was really , really, really boring. To pass time, I sat in the car and played my Nintendo DS. I saw alot of my relatives at the visitation.

I also saw some of my parents' friends. The visitation was kind of fun but mainly boring through out the whole thing. I kept wondering to myself will this thing ever end. My sister kept runnning off somewhere then came back. When we left, I said "Thank You. " It was a long drive home. When we got home it was nine thirty.

Summer, Summer Oh I look forward to thee.
Only two more weeks of school to be.
Flowers as far as the eye can see.
Hope that no bees will sting me.
Swimming in the pool is fun to me.
Thank you, Summer for coming to visit me.

you but I like
you right now just
the way you are.

Oh, TV if we

Tom Haikus

I watch my cat, Tom.
He jumps around, chasing birds,
but then he sees me.

He runs up to me,
hoping that I will feed him.
He meows a whole lot.

He runs to the door,
and I follow him to it.
He goes to his bowl.

Go Green

I look outside,
worrying.
Global Warming,
pollution,
all sorts of things.
What will Earth be like
when I get older?
Will I go outside
and breathe
nice, clean air?
Or will I go outside
and cough out
the toxic smog
the air has become?
Only time will tell,
but I still worry.
Can I make a difference?
I hope.
Maybe you can, too.

The Rain
Lightly coming down
the rain came harder.
Sitting there doing nothing.
Sitting listening to the rain.
Pound against the house.
I look out the window.
I could see the trees,
blowing strongly.
Seeing the lighting striike.
It got quiet the rain had stopped.
